What surfaces can I use it on?
The Crystal Swipe works on almost any smooth, hard surface: interior and exterior windows, bathroom mirrors, glass shower doors and screens, glass tabletops, tiled walls, and car windshields and side windows. It performs best on flat or gently curved glass where the silicone blade can sit flush. We don’t recommend it for textured or porous materials like frosted glass, natural stone or fabric.
How does the built-in spray work, and what do I put in it?
The handle doubles as a refillable reservoir. Open the handle, fill it with clean water — add a small splash of glass cleaner or a few drops of dish soap for greasy jobs — then close it. Press the trigger and a fine mist sprays from the front nozzle straight onto the glass, so there’s no separate spray bottle to carry. Refill it as often as you need.
Do I need a special cleaning solution?
No. Plain water handles everyday dust, fingerprints and light grime. For kitchen grease, hard-water marks or heavy build-up, add a small amount of your usual glass cleaner or a single drop of dish soap to the water in the handle. Avoid bleach or abrasive powders — they can shorten the life of the rubber blade.
Will it scratch or damage my glass?
No. The scrub side is soft microfiber and the wiper is a smooth silicone blade, so both are gentle on glass, mirrors and screens. As with any squeegee, just make sure the surface is free of loose grit or sand before you start — debris trapped under any blade can scratch, which is exactly why we recommend a quick spray and scrub first.
How do I get a streak-free finish?
Lightly mist the glass, give it a quick scrub with the pad to lift grime, then pull the silicone blade across in one smooth, slightly overlapping stroke from top to bottom. Wipe the blade on a cloth between strokes if needed. Working top-to-bottom keeps drips from running back onto the clean area — that’s the secret to zero streaks.
How do I clean and store it, and how long does it last?
After use, empty any leftover water, rinse the microfiber pad and silicone blade under running water, shake off the excess and let it air dry. Store it upright or hang it by the handle loop. Kept clean and dry, the blade stays flexible and the tool holds up for years of regular use. At just 150 g it tucks easily into a drawer or hangs neatly in the shower.
